WHAT THEY SAY
Our wines are made completely from the grapes produced in our own vineyards, of which, for the most part are old dry grown Primitivo bush vines on terra rossa. They are cultivated by hand using bio-dynamic principals and the yield rarely exceeds 2 tonnes (2.6 hl) per hectare.
WHAT WE SAY
A lot of attention to detail and care go into the range of Morella wines, hand-picking, basket pressing, manual plunging -which all pay off in the wines. We can honestly say we haven’t tasted such fine, elegant and fresh primitivo. These wines are stylish, the old vines imbue superb character and structure.
WHAT OTHERS SAY
A project born out of love for the vineyard of old bush vines. Lisa Gilbee had clear ideas from the beginning, to make wines that had a territorial identity with an absolute respect for nature. Modernity and tradition are combined to perfection in Lisa's wines, always pure and of great complexity. -Slow Wine Guide
